Mahubah

Mahubah (1910-1931) was an American Bay Thoroughbred filly racehorse. Foaled in Kentucky, she was owned and bred by August Belmont, Jr.

Record: 5 Starts: 1 - 0 - 1; earnings: $390

Retired to broodmare duty in Lexington, Kentucky, Mahubah produced five foals, all from Fair Play. The most notable of her offspring was Man o' War, ranked No.1 in the Blood-Horse magazine List of the Top 100 U.S. Racehorses of the 20th Century.

On her death in 1931 at age 21, Mahubah was buried next to Fair Play at Elmendorf Farm.
