Mahonri Schwalger (born 15 September 1978 in Apia) is a Samoan rugby union footballer. He has played for the Samoan national team, including representing them at the 2003 and 2007 Rugby World Cups. He was also selected for the Pacific Islanders team (combined Samoa, Tonga and Fiji) to tour Europe at the end of 2006.
He currently plays for the Llanelli Scarlets in the Magners League, having signed on a short-term contract from Wellington Lions as cover for the injured Ken Owens. He has made 6 appearances for the Scarlets so far. He originally played for Hawke's Bay, making his debut in 1999 against Waikato. He signed with Wellington in 2004. He also played for the Highlanders in the international Super 12 competition.
In April 2008, it was announced that Schwalger had extended his contract with the Scarlets for a further two seasons.
He attended Waitakere College in Auckland and played for the Waitemata club.
