Mahogany (band)

Mahogany is an electric music ensemble currently working in Brooklyn, New York. A unique combination of vocals, cello, massed guitars, sequencers, synthesizers, percussion, and other instruments make for Mahogany's massive, celestial sound.
Mahogany was founded in Michigan ca. 1995 by Andrew Prinz. First releasing the 'Dual-Group' EP, a limited 12" on the Detroit-based Burnt Hair Records, the group received airplay on the John Peel show, and a string of 7" and compilation releases appeared on boutique labels in the UK, Scotland, Italy, and France.
