Mahmoud Shoolizadeh

Mahmoud Shoolizadeh (Persian: محمود شولیزاده , born December 16, 1959 in Abadan, Iran) is an internationally recognised[1] film director and screenwriter, with various awards including Best Film award of the audience for the fiction film Noora in 49th International Film Festival of Taormina in Italy in June 2003[1]

Mahmoud Shoolizadeh has got his B.A degree in Film Production (Directing) and M.A. degree in Cultural Affairs Management. He is one of the film directors of Iran broadcasting and has been working there for over 22 years. His major activities include making documentary films, but he has also experience in directing short films and movies. Beside directing, producing and editing films, he also undertakes writing the scripts and researches of his films. Mahmoud Shoolizadeh has co-operated in making fictions like The lover of Koochak, Anjelika ship and The Puppet Bride. Now he has made one of his two movie scripts: Noora (The Kiss of Life) and The Migration of Love.
