Mahmoud Fehmy was an Egyptian general. He was the Egyptian second in command in the Battle of Tel el-Kebir. When General Sir Drury Curzon Drury-Lowe, in charge of British cavalry, saw him after the Battle of Kassasin, thinking he was a "respectable looking gentleman", and talked with him, a captured Egyptian officer told him who he was. Fehmy was arrested.
