Shri Mahvaveer Digamber Jain Sr. Sc. school stands on a 200 sqr yards(24,000 m²) plot of land allotted free of cost by His Highness Sawai Man Singh of Jaipur, the ruler of erstwhile State of Jaipur, in 1946 in the posh Colony of the Pink City – better known as 'C' Scheme, Jaipur. Shri Mahaveer Digamber Jain Senior Secondary School is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan. Recognised and aided by the State's Education Department, the School is being run at three places:

All the Laboratories of the School are well - spacious and well ventilated with latest equipments and all modern facilities in it.

• Chemistry Lab

Well spacious and well ventilated with all fitted epquiments , chemicals and reagents. Their the personal attention is given to each student by the qualified instructors.

• Physics Lab

Well spacious and well ventilated with all fitted instruments. Their the personal attention is given to each student by the qualified instructors.

• Biology Lab

Well spacious and well ventilated Biology lab provides specimens,microscopes, permanent slides latest method of physiological experiment, section cutting of plants,demonstration dissection with the help of computer . Above this the well qualified and experienced faculties are really an advantage for the student who at every step are there to help the student.

• Computer Lab

Two air conditioned Computer Labs with Latest Pentium IV(70)computers . All the computers there are in networking and above all with internet facilities.Printer facility is also there which is connected to server.Very well qualified instructors are there to help the students at every phase .Optional computer education is provided in Commerce faculty in XI & XII classes. Facilities for compulsory Computer education are provided to all students from I to XII class.

• Geography lab

Endowed with latest teaching aids & well qualified teachhers , geography lab also provides the outdoor survey facilities. With latest teaching equipments as per the syllabus of class XII are available in the Lab

• Library

Very well spacious and wide range of variety of thousands of books approx. 64000 books.Library provides an open shelf facility for all the students and staff members. --It also provides a research centre on jainism in which valuable and ancient literature is available. -- Book Bank facilities are available for poor students -- Special facilities are created for meritorious and weak students.They are permitted to draw as many books as they need and they are also permitted to purchase books and prepared for examination .The books are supposed to be deposited back after exam. -- All leading newspaper and magzines with separate section as reading room is available for teachers and students.

It can accommodate 500 children at a time.With all modern facilities of staging ,dramas,plays,accorsions etc. with latest fitting of light & Sound.The assembly hall also provides effecting cooling system.

[edit] Audio/Visual Room

It is also there for the students which has all facilities like LCD, OverHead Projectors, Computers , Recording System etc. Cd's on almost every topic of each subject is there in school which is shown to students which develops the interest of students in subject and makes the subject more interesting for the students.Graphical tool is really a powerful teaching source than the simple theory teaching.

English Medium Section of SMDJ run the classes from I to VIII standard with very well qualified and experienced teachers who are really very dedicated towards there work which really highlights the beauty of school .
