Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday University was established on February 12, 1991. Named after Mahatma Gandhi this university aims to provide higher education to people living in rural areas. The university is a premier institute of teaching, learning and research. It offers its students and staff members with several facilities such as central library, computer centre, mess etc.
