Maharajganj district

Maharajganj district is one of the districts of Uttar Pradesh state of India, and town of Maharajganj is the district headquarters. Prior to 2nd Oct 1989 it was a part of Gorakhpur district but now it is a separate district and comes under Gorakhpur Division (ie Gorakhpur mandal).
