Mahalia Barnes is an Australian singer/songwriter, daughter of well known Australian rock singer Jimmy Barnes. She began performing as part of kiddie pop group The Tin Lids with siblings, Eliza-Jane and Jackie; but has since become a respected session and backup singer.

She performs regular live gigs around Australia and also backs other artists including R&B singer Jade MacRae, live Sydney band The Hands (whose members include in-demand session musicians Clayton and Lachlan Doley) and father Jimmy Barnes. She has also done session work for MacRae, The Hands, Jimmy Barnes (a duet they recorded, "Gonna Take Some Time"; was released as the second single from his album Double Happiness), Gary Pinto and uncle Johnny Diesel .

On June 6, 2007; she announced that she is about to begin work on her debut full-length album.

(She is also the half-sister of Australian singer David Campbell.)
