Mahakavi Kalidasa

Mahakavi Kalidasa (Kannada: ಮಹಾಕವಿ ಕಾಳಿದಾಸ) is a Kannada movie was made in mid 1950's by the then famous singer of Karnataka Honnappa Bhagavatar of Bangalore. Honnappa Bagavatar introduced B.Sarojadevi to the filmdom who later became a very well known actress in Kannada,Tamil,Hindi and Telugu. The movie, Mahakavi Kalidasa contained some very ear catching songs like "chaluvayya chaluvo" etc. Shri Honnappa Bhagavatar acted in this Kannada movie in the main role of the poet Kalidasa.
