The reason for the Brett Favre page reverts is because someone who was doing the same thing was banned by the community, using 50+ sockpuppets to do that as well. Plus, the nfl numbers and those listed on the other sites conflict.--Wizardman 04:32, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, the nfl numbers that conflict are whether there was 8,223 or 8,224 career attempts. That has been determined and settled that it's 8,223 by the Packers. No other NFL numbers conflict with any other sites, so I don't know why you are reverting this correct info. There was only one conflict and it's settled, 8,223 attempts. I can't help what someone else did and they are obviously gone, but what's right is right and my edit is correct and verifiable, and even PSUMark2006 verified it all when he was dealing with the other banned person, I've looked into all this and it belongs and you people don't own this site or page and acting like dictators and reverting correct info gets us knowhere. I added a cit to the Ty Detmer quote that takes you to the direct fact and you revert all this, if I put 8,224 on the attemps, that would be a conflict, but I put 8,223, that is confirmed and correct by the Packers. Check my 75.31.18.196 IP address, I assure it's not anyone that you've had problems with, I'm just trying to add correct info with extra cits, and there is no conflicts now that the 8,223 Attempts have been confirmed, Thanks MagicMountain7 08:51, 25 February 2007 (UTC)MagicMountain7
- You need to understand something, very quickly: you just happen to have stumbled into an ongoing content dispute, and just happen to have taken the same position of a recently banned user, who's come back with numerous sockpuppets to evade bans and blocks. It's unusual enough for a new user to leap into a dispute, like that; it's likewise unusual for them to take the same stance as someone who was recently banned. Add into that the user's known tendency to use socks, and things look more than a little suspicious. I personally am not going to review this unblock request, but I am hoping this will help you to understand why some admins have taken such a defensive posture, here. – Luna Santin (talk) 09:31, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, I don't care about this other user and who cares what trouble they gave, they are banned now, and I'm not taking a position. This info is correct and belongs on the page, is another website going to take off his correct stats and info because someone was bothering them, no. The info is correct and multiple references we're added to the fact, who cares about banned users, they are gone, now we should agree to add correct and factual info, because none of us run this page and we have to do what's right Luna Santin. If you are a Favre fan and check my post under my IP address 75.31.18.196 before I used this account, you will check the additions and confirm for yourself they are fact and belong and that's all that matters. My IP address can't match the persons that was banned IP, so you know I'm legit and shouldn't have been blocked, you can't treat people this way, and I should be unblocked. Verify the additions for yourself Luna Santin, if your a Favre fan you'll verify them and agree they should be here, we are supposed to make this page factual and verifiable and you guys arn't doing your job and letting that be done cause you want to fight with one banned user. Lets not let one person get in the way of our job, and my edit is verifiable, do it yourself Luna Santin, and it belongs because you can check my IP address. Lets be mature here, it's more like a bunch of teenagers fighting now and that's really against wikipedia rules, let that banned user go and lets move one, we are more mature than this I hope, just verify my edit yourself Luna Santin, I wouldn't add nothing that wasn't verified, I'm the best Brett Favre fan there is, I added 2 refs and confirmed the 5 added stats and confirmed the "Put TY In" situation with a reference, I wouldn't have added nothing that wasn't confirmed, I take this very seriously, MagicMountain7 09:49, 25 February 2007 (UTC)MagicMountain7
