Talk:Magma Design Automation

Please keep, and improve rather than delete - The industry and the company are reasonably interesting to the many technical folks (After all, where do you think all those Cell Phones and iPods come from? They don't get designed spontaneously....)
Also, it's mentioned 446 times in EE Times, the largest newspaper in this field, and independent of the company itself. LouScheffer 18:44, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've taken mercy on the page and spared it from deletion. It still needs a lot of work though. Mainly it needs multiple, independent, and reliable sources to establish notability. The company website, blogs, and forums won't do for this. You need magazines, newspapers, and other reliable sources. Parts could stand a little rewriting. It isn't blatant advertising but it isn't exactly neutral either. Add some souces (these can be company webpages) to make all the information verifiable. Don't focus so much on awards and products, is there any history to the company? Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 19:02, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- Also, don't repeat the company name so much, English has these nice little things called pronouns. Second, try to use more prose and fewer bulleted lists, especially for products, this makes it look less like a company website. Finally, I removed the foreign external links. This is the English Wikipedia, as long as there is an English website, that's all that's needed. Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 19:05, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
