Maguy Kakon

Marie-Yvonne Kakon (known as Maguy Kakon and Maggie Cacoun) (born 1953 in Casablanca) is a Moroccan author, politician and real-estate consultant. She is a candidate and head of the Social Centre Party (Parti centre social) national women's list for the ongoing 2007 Moroccan parliamentary election. She is the first woman of Jewish confession to run for office in Morocco.[1]
