Karl Magnus Svensson Pääjärvi (born April 12, 1991, in Norrköping, Sweden) is a Swedish professional junior ice hockey player. He is currently playing for Timrå IK in Elitserien and the J20 SuperElit.
He grew up in Malmö and played for the Malmö Redhawks during his youth. In 2007 he signed with Timrå IK where his older brother Björn Svensson played for the senior team.
During the 2008 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in Pardubice and Liberec, Czech Republic, at age 16 years and 8 months he became the youngest player ever to play for the Sweden national junior's ice hockey team.[1]
His Finnish last name, Pääjärvi, is from his maternal grandfather, an ethnic Finn from Pajala.
Svensson Pääjärvi should not be confused with the older Swedish ice hockey defenceman Magnus Svensson.
