[edit] Traditions/Activities
One major tradition is the UCLA trip for seniors. The PUENTE program funds this and allows for UC-eligible students to take a whole-day trip to the UCLA campus and later to Santa Monica. At UCLA, the students meet up with former Magnolia students who are currently attending UCLA and they answer questions regarding college life.
Another activity is the Week of Non-Violence held by Sents of Pride. It usually is on the week that includes Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This week is dedicated to bringing awareness to school violence and how it affects students. In the 2006/2007 school year, the club invited the Trabuco Canyon Theatre to present their play, "Bang Bang, You're Dead" as the final activity.
Mr. Magnolia is another tradition hosted by MHS ASB. Male students compete in a series of competitions including swim wear and talent.
