[edit] Talent Breakdown
When Dor questions the inanimate, it must answer him. The inanimate also "verbally" obeys his command. After longterm association with Dor, the inanimate can talk without a command.
[edit] Talent Example
While in Mundania rescuing Magician Trent, Dor mentally asked his sword to act like the ghost of king Omen to scare King Oary. The sword scared Oary into telling them where he had imprisoned King Trent. Then, without any command, Oary's Mistress's sheet made a smart comment.
[edit] History
Dor grew up around Castle Roogna. From birth he was the Heir Apparent to the throne of Xanth. After being King Protem for Magician Trent a few times, being a Nextwave King, and marrying Sorceress Irene he became the 20th King of Xanth.
Dor is the son of Bink and Chameleon. He is of Magician class and has the power to make inanimate objects talk. This includes rocks, clouds, water, bones, and any other non living thing. He is King of Xanth and is married to Princess Irene. The stork delivered two children to them, Princess Ivy and Prince Dolph. A third child princess Ida will also enter the brood on account of her magical talent. He starred in the Xanth books Castle Roogna, Centaur Aisle, and Night Mare.
