Maggie Peterson

'Maggie Peterson Mancuso' (Born 10 January 1941 in Greeley, Colorado) is an American television actress. She is best known for playing Charlene Darling on The Andy Griffith Show. She also played innocent Rose Ellen in the 1969 film The Love God?, starring next to Don Knotts.
She also played in the The Andy Griffith Show episode "A girl for Goober" (1968) as the character "Doris".
The Darlings received a star on the Missouri Walk of Fame in April of 2008 in Marshfield, Missouri. Representing the Darlings were Peterson, Dean Webb and Mitch Jayne.
