Maggie Cassella is a former lawyer, stand-up comedian, writer and American-Canadian actress who hosted the Canadian talk show television series Because I Said So.

Originally from Hartford, Connecticut, Cassella lives in Toronto. She often collaborates with fellow comedian Lea Delaria. Cassella is also a lesbian, and often integrates this fact into her comedy routine.
