Magesh is from Australia, and currently lives in Melbourne. Magesh is currently one of Australia's most in demand session drummers.

Voted one of the “Top 20 Millennium Players” by Drumscene magazine, he is regarded as one of Australia’s most exciting and innovative drummers.[1] Magesh does many workshops around Australia and in other parts of the world. He is known for incorporating tablas and electronics with the drumset. He has performed with International artists like Nelly Furtado, The Pussy Cat Dolls, Lionel Richie, Ricky Martin, Justin Timberlake, Anastacia, Chris Brown, Rhianna, Vanessa Amorosi and Daniel Merriweather. Magesh recorded a DVD called Unique Beats in which he wrote all the music, played majority of the instruments and produced himself. He then signed a deal with Hal Leonard in the United States. His skills have earned him praise from some of the biggest names in the music business. Magesh has appeared in TV adds for 'M&M' Choclates and Sony Playstation. He is currently finishing a book on drumming. He has also appeared in such drumming magazines as Modern Drummer (USA), Rhythm (USA), Newsbeat (Canada) and Drumscene (Australia).

Magesh has performed at the "Australian Ultimate Drummers Weekend" on more than one occasion, and has been a regular at the "Drumania" Festival in Geelong, run by Geelong's largest music store, "The Music Den".

[edit] John Blackwell Jr. Clinics

On more than one occasion, Magesh has been the support act for John Blackwell Jr., whilst Blackwell has been on tour in Australia. Magesh and Blackwell have a close friendship and it seems everytime Blackwell makes it to Australia, Magesh will do a clinic with Blackwell. In November 2007, Magesh performed a few clinics with John Blackwell Jr. whilst he was in Australia on tour with Justin Timberlake.
