The Magellanic Oystercatcher (Haematopus leucopodus) is a species of wader in the Haematopodidae family. It is found in Argentina, Chile, Falkland Islands, and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. Its natural habitats are freshwater lakes and sandy shores.
