Magalang is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Pampanga, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 77,530 people in 15,257 households.

Magalang is currently governed by embattled businessman town Mayor Romulo Pecson amid the Commission on Elections' judgment to reinstate unseated Mayor Lyndon Cunanan.[1]
