Since your username is the same initials as the new Vaughan Youth Councillor, I'm going to assume that you are him :). Anyways, if it is you, I just wanted to congratulate you, that's a huge step for youth in vaughan. I was on the Youth Advisory Committee at one point, let me tell you, it was useless, if not outright disasterous. So good luck with this. But its a noble effort nonetheless. I checked out your site and to be honest, I was completely blown away. What you guys have done in 4 years is incredible. Be proud of it. For some reason I see this position and cabinet to be a sham. I hope I'm wrong and that MAF can back up the following statement (which is on their site):

"As a caring, concerned young Vaughan citizen, Mark envisions his mandate as the first VYCC to be three-fold. First, to inform Council of the realities facing youth in Vaughan; second, to inform youth of the opportunities afforded to them within the city; and third, to encourage young people to be heard in the community, especially in light of the coming municipal election."
