Her first solo album Don't Sing Lovesongs was released in June 2007, and includes traditional Scottish Gaelic songs, as well as songs in English from Scotland, Ireland and North America. The album was produced by Duncan Lyall (Croft No.5) and Ali Hutton of Back of the Moon.
