Maesteg railway station is one of two railway stations that serve the town of Maesteg in South Wales. It located in the centre of the town and is the terminus of the Maesteg Line from Cardiff via Bridgend. The other station, on the same line, is named Maesteg Ewenny Road.
Passenger services are operated by Arriva Trains Wales as part of the Valley Lines network for local services.
There is a dedicated rail link bus that links with the train. It is only available to rail passengers and operates to Nantyfyllon, Spelter, Caerau, Blaencaerau and Caerau Park, serving the areas originally served by the railway until the Beeching axe.
Most services from Maesteg on Mondays to Saturdays continue to Cheltenham via Gloucester.
