Ma.Lourdes Pascual Manliclic(a talented girl). Born last September 10, 1990 in Cabanatuan City bloomed at last. It was the first baby girl, pregnancy of Dorotea Manliclic her mother. A daughter of a good man became a mayor of Gen. Natividad- Nueva, Ecija gained the throne for only one term. And admired to join politics again but unluckily, he lost his turn because of usual fraud. Her father’s named was Mario Manliclic. She had 6 brothers and 1 sister. She’s the 7th in the siblings. She studied nursery stage at the age of 4 but as her mother’s response, “Madessa, nah not yet ready for school. Still called a baby, always bringing a bottle of milk and nap at class time.” Moreover, she continues studying. At the preparatory stage, at the age of five she graduated at J.C.L.C (Jesus Christ Learning Center).
At young age, her talent in singing sprouted. Her parents discovered it when, “hoy dad, tignan mo yung anak mo! She’s shaking her shoulder while at the same time the graceful music sounds.” That was it. The first song she learned was “Pearly Shell”. She danced while singing. Next song was Wooden Heart; Tomorrow; If We Hold On; Sulyap and move on through years she learned many songs…ECT. In the Politics Period: campaign, Madessa usually sang. The exposure blasted that time. She sang with no shyness.
As time goes by, there was a confusing problem about family. Life brought a miserable thing. That was when her father addicted in gambling. No one can stop him from being addicted. He lost a lot of money. The time comes, when no money to lose. He tried to borrow from a bank, and it was over. Family increased many bills and it was bankrupt. Happiness turned over. No more money, all properties sold out. Her family transferred other residence to bring new life. Their destination went over in Silang, Cavite. Her family found once more the beginning not the ending. They made new business, a rice center with poultry supplies and reloading station. In addition, as I think it became successful. In one branch made it to 4 branches. (2 in Silang, 1 in Carmona and Rosario-Cavite).
Madessa studied her grade school moment (1997-2003) in Silang Central School- a public school but high quality teaching. Singing talent was her asset to grow popularity. As time goes by, her hidden talent in singing blooms again. Her teachers exposed it. She joined many contest at last. High school life comes up then. She studied in Cavite Institute a.k.a CI. (First and second year). She met several friends and great teachers. Her talents boost and enhance more of it. Not only her singing skills but also others, revealed. She got a several achievements because of joining extracurricular and organizations. Challenges never stop her changed.
Nevertheless, another trial approached her. It was the saddest thing for her. The memorable date (first day of school) that was June 6, 2005, her mom transferred her from new school, Rosario Institute (R.I). It was so dispiriting. She dun no what to do. She really does not want to transfer other school. It was so disgusting. Pains are running all over through her veins. She wants to shout loudly, and tell the world what she felt when the destiny brought her to this miserable moment. The depressing insight conveyed into her life. She wanna tell all of you people, she do love you deep inside her heart. Hope to see you again. She really misses the bonds of Mahogany, now called Makiling.
