My name is Edward Maher, I am 25 years old (December 16, 1981, Rockford, Illinois).

I am a proud member of the United States Army. I just returned from Baghdad, Iraq in November 06. I used to be a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic where I repaired HMMWVs, HEMTTs, LMTVs, and rebuilt engines and transmissions. I am currently retraining to be an Arabic Interrogator in the National Guard

I am attending the University of Illinois in Fall 2007 and will be studying Political Science and Psychology. Upon graduation I will return to active duty as a Lieutenant and plan to remain in the military until retirement. I hope to obtain a Ph.D. in International Relations during my career and teach at the collegiate level after retirement.
