Many people say that Tirunelveli Tamil is the classic form. Can you give citation for the madurai tamil being classical formDoctor Bruno 13:16, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

The article contained general information about Madurai city(Area, Population, STD Code etc) which I feel is irrelevant to this article and hence have deleted the same. --Natrajdr 12:59, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
