The Transept is not notable in and of itself. It has been proposed that it be merged into this article. I support the proposal. Dekimasu 02:19, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

The Transept is a literary journal and not the same as a sports team or club of the University. It is a publication in and of its own right and adding The Transept does not cause any confusion with any existing entries. El cid1010 22:42, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Confusion with existing entries is not the issue here, though. If it is not to be merged, it should probably be sent to AfD. I do not believe that myspace and the publication of one issue of a student journal confer notability. Dekimasu 12:41, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm new at the whole Wikipedia game so the removal of the notability tag was a bit noob-ish, mea culpa.
