Talk:Madonna (entertainer)/to do/Archive 1
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the "Post-divorce relationships" section - there is no mention of Madonna's bisexuality and her intimate/sexual relationships with women. It is currently rather heterosexist. I suggest adding something along the lines of:
Throughout her career, Madonna's romantic and sexual relationships with women have been the subject of public intrigue and scrutiny. She has been linked to several ongoing relationships with female celebrities, including supermodel Naomi Campbell and former friend Saundra Bernhardt. In addition, the "Sex" book features her in a variety of sexual situations with both men and women. Her passionate kisses with Britney Spears and Christina Agueleira marked a turning point in pop culture. At times openly identifying as "bisexual," and at other times maintaining an amigiuous air of privacy, Madonna's sexual fluidity has been attributed to the social liberation of bisexuality in the United States in the 1990's (Rust, 2000).

"Ma" does not mean "my" in Italian. It should be "mia". (Described in parentheses that "ma" is a variation on the Italian "mia"--EtTuBrute 06:01, 5 May 2007 (UTC))
List of work needed:
New Picture at top of pageSeperate section on the article detailing acting career. Info needs to be removed from the album sections of her biography.Information on article needs to be prioritised and processed. Currently too much information - most of it unneeded and isnt notable.Information about the performance of singles and albums needs to be cut down considerabley and the details need to be placed on the song/albums own page. There is FAR too much clutter.Sources needed to be added a lot of the claims in the articles. Although some claims are cited - a lot arent. Rimmers 17:10, 3 April 2006 (UTC)Suggest new headers for biographical section, which currently consists entirely of album titles. This limits discussion of her career to these albums and makes it difficult to discuss other relevant events unless they neatly fall under discussion of one of the albums. Information could be collated and headed chronologically as per Kylie Minogue and Mariah Carey articles. This will also help trim some of the excessive info from specific album sections as per the above "most of it is unneeded" etc.Rossrs 05:41, 11 April 2006 (UTC)A paragraph or two about Maverick Records. This is a huge achievement and it currently gets about half a sentence. Rossrs 15:06, 27 May 2006 (UTC)The 'Objectiveness' section of the article is clearly a subjective rant from the point of view of a fan. It contains extremely poor grammar and profuse weasel-words. Could this please be cleaned up/removed?
I'm curious about a reference to Madonna leaving high school in her sophomore year, 1978. That would have made her 20 years old. Is a reference to college or junior college missing?
Please correct the typo in the right box: "Ciconne" should be "Ciccone"
