Mads Stage

Mads Stage (6 July 192228 May 2004) was a Danish artist.

Mads Stage was a respected and beloved artist in large parts of the world. His enormous production includes design and decoration of everything from postcards, posters, calendars, stamps and books to porcelain, textiles and much more.

Mads Stage has among others illustrated Henry David Thoreau's Walden, or Life in the Woods, Ivan Turgenev's The Hunter's Sketches, fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen and children's books by Danish author Jens Fink-Jensen.
