Madrasah Al-Maarif Al-Islamiah is an all-girls' Islamic school in Geylang, Singapore. It is currently one of six full-time Islamic madrasahs for students in Singapore. Madrasah Al-Maarif has students at primary, secondary and pre-university levels.[1] The curriculum of the school places equal emphasis on Islamic religious studies and secular subjects from the Singapore Ministry of Education curriculum.[2]

Like the other madrasahs in Singapore, Madrasah Al-Maarif has a Management Committee whose members are appointed every two years by the Ministry of Education in consultation with the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS).[3]

In 2008, Madrasah Al-Maarif entered a team in the nationally-televised debate show The Arena, broadcast on Mediacorp Channel 5. The team successfully made it through the audition rounds before being knocked-out in the first televised round by the team from the Singapore American School.
