Madonna University (Ihiala)

Madonna University is a private university in Nigeria. It was founded on 10th May, 1999 in Ihiala, Anambra State. It was established by E.M.P Edeh, who also established Caritas University, Enugu in 2005.
Madonna University offers various courses including Law, Management, Social Sciences, Medicine and Engineering. The courses are accredited by the National Universities Commission, and admission requirements is a minimum of 5 credits at no more than two sittings of the O'level schools Certificate Examination. The Vice-Chancellor is Lawrence Onukwube, who succeeded Romanus Okeke Unegbu. It's science campus houses a university teaching hospital located at Elele in Rivers State, a few kilometres away from its main campus at Okija. The University's take off campus is located at Okija, a town that is approximately 20 Kilometers from Onitsha.
