Madison Square Mall is Huntsville, Alabama's largest enclosed shopping center, encompassing over 932,452 sq. ft. It is also now the oldest extant enclosed shopping mall in the city. Anchored by JCPenney, Dillard's, Sears, and Belk, the mall is located on the corner of University Dr. (U.S. 72) and Research Park Blvd.

Madison Square Mall opened on October 16, 1984 with anchors JCPenney, Parisian, Castner Knott, Pizitz, and Sears. Junior anchors included Yielding and Blach's. Over time, some of the anchors have had changes. Blach's was closed by 1987 and its space is now filled by The Limited and Victoria's Secret. Pizitz was acquired by Jackson, Mississippi-based McRae's in 1988 and was renamed as such until McRae's was bought out by Charlotte, North Carolina-based Belk Inc. Castner Knott was acquired in 1998 by Dillard's, and Yielding closed their Madison Square Mall location in about 1993. For the next 10 years the space was used by Castner Knott/Dillard's as space for their menswear. Today, Steve & Barry's University Sportswear uses the space. In 2007, when Belk purchased Parisian, Belk moved its store from the former McRae's parcel to the much larger former Parisian parcel and renovated it to fit the Belk model. The former McRae's remains vacant.

In addition to the in-line stores, several other businesses are located at the Madison Square site, including a Holiday Inn hotel, Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Romano's Macaroni Grill and Steak n Shake restaurants, and a Regal Cinemas theater.

Madison Square Mall has been renovated twice since its opening, in 1994 and again in 2006.

Madison Square Mall is owned by CBL & Associates Properties, Inc..
