Madhu Muttam

Madhu Muttam is a popular script writer in Kerala, India. His second film as a script writer was the critically acclaimed Malayalam blockbuster Manichitrathazhu (1993) which was huge commercial success in Kerala. The film fetched Sobhana the National Award for best Actress. The film was remade in Kannada as Apthamitra and in Tamil as Chandramukhi, and finally in Hindi as Bhool Bhulaiyaa, directed by Priyadarshan. Madhu's first film, Kakothikavile Appuppanthadikal (1986) was also a hit. His third film was the science fiction thriller, Bharathan (2007) starring Biju Menon and directed by Anil Das. The film was a flop.[citation needed]
