Madhan

Madhan (1947 Born - Srirangam), whose real name is Govinda Kumar, is a famous Tamil cartoonist, journalist, writer and film-critic who works for Ananda Vikatan magazine, a leading Tamil weekly. He also answers to the questions asked from the readers in Hi Madhan in Anada Vikatan which is very informative. He anchored a program in SUN news TV channel in 1999,answering viewers questions in various fields specially science and history. He wrote the dialog for Anbe Sivam, a 2003 film in which he also had a brief appearance, and is the author of Vandhargal Vendrargal, an account of Mughal rule in India. He also anchors a movie review programme named "Madhan's Thirai Paarvai" in Star Vijay television.

He started his own tamil magazine 'Vin Naayagan' in association with salem vinayakamission group. But they stopped the publication of this magazine within a year of launch (1999).
