Madge Bester

Madge Bester (born 1963) is believed to be the world's shortest living woman.[1][2] From South Africa, she measures 2 ft 1.5 in (65 cm) in height. She has osteogenesis imperfecta, which is characterized by brittle bones. She is also affected by other deformities of her skeleton and is in a wheelchair. Her mother, Winnie, is not much taller, measuring at 70cm and is also confined to a wheelchair.
