Madeleine Barclay (b. Madeleine Victorine Bayard February 21, 1911, Paris - d. January 1, 1943, lost in sinking of HMS Fidelity off Azores) was an officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service (WRNS), working the Special Operations Executive (SOE).
Born in Paris, the daughter of Adele Suzanne Bayard (father unknown), Barclay was recuited by the SOE in 1940, before attending the WRNS Officers' Training Course, Royal Naval College, Greenwich in January 1941. She joined D Section of the SOE officially in 1941.
Barclay was lost in sinking of HMS Fidelity off Azores on January 1 1943.
