Coordinates: 23°01′N 88°29′E / 23.02, 88.48 Madanpur (Bengali:মদনপুর) is a census town under Chakdaha police station of Kalyani subdivision in Nadia district in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1]

Madanpur is located at 23.02° N 88.48° E[2]. It has an average elevation of 9 metres (29 feet).

As of 2001 India census[3], Madanpur had a population of 12,029 [as of now this figure must be doubled]. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Madanpur has an average literacy rate of 81%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 85%, and female literacy is 76%. In Madanpur, 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
