Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College (MMMEC) is a state funded engineering institute in the city of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh province of India.

Established in 1962, Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College is affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

The departments of Civil Engineering ,Electrical Engineering and Mechnical Engineering were established in 1962, with the establishment of college.The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 1973.The Computer Sc. & Engg. Degree course at this college started from the academic session 1984—85.The center for Management Studies was established in 2001.

The College is managed by a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act. No. XXI of 1960. The administration of the College and its affairs are controlled by Board of Governors of the Society. It admits 260 students annually to a total student body of 1040. Admission to the institute are through a national level entrance examination conducted by UP Technical University.

Bachelor of Technology Degree Courses of four-years duration in the following branches:

M.Tech. programmes on selected areas in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Electronics & Communication Engineering.

2- year Full-Time Master of Business Administration (MBA) PROGRAMME

3- year Full-Time Master of Computer Application (MCA) PROGRAMME

College offers Ph.D. in few areas of specialization and it also runs the part time courses of IGNOU.

MMMEC has IEEE students chapter with a large membership and organizes an annual national convention TECH SRIJAN during even semester. Beside this,college has other societies which help students for their overall development during college life.These include THE EDITORIAL BOARD, ALA,SANKET ,C'TOAN etc. The College also has a Day Scholars Club for the local students from Gorakhpur

The major festivals are: Abhivyakti,the annual cultural festival Tech-Srijan,the annual technology festival Annual sports meet.
