Madan Krishna Shrestha (Nepal Bhasa/Nepali:मदनकृष्ण श्रेष्ठ)is one of the most successful Nepalese comedians. Along with Hari Bansha Acharya of MaHa, he is considered as one of the best comedians of all times in Nepal.

Madan Krishna Shrestha was born in 19th April 1950 to a well cultured family. He was brought up with struggle and love from his parents. His mother Laxmi Devi Shrestha died in his childhood and that was the reason for his seriouseness. His father was strict. Now at present his wife and him live in Dhobidhara, his son and daughter are in America. They are also interested in music but due to their busy schedule they cannot concentrate in music.

He had his education from two or three schools. They are Montessori school, J.P school and Padmadev School. He gave S.L.C. from Shanti Nikunja School. He did his I com from Mahendra Ratna public college. B.A. through a private institute. He was very much indulged in art field and could not complete graduation.

Madan Krishna Shrestha became the centre of attraction amongst Nepalese viewers and critics after his performance in Rastriya Gaijatra Mahotsav in 2032 BS. Before meeting Hari Bamsha Acharya, he had contributed in art alone for 10 years. The duo have become a hit and have done many comedic dramas and events in all parts of the world.
