Mad Hatter (Bank Robber)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Mad Hatter is the name of a bank robber who made headlines across North America during an eighteen bank robbing spree.[1] He was apprehended on July 17, 2007 in Newark, New Jersey, shortly after police tracked his license plates.[2] His mode of operation was to wear a different hat for each robbery. [3] James G. Madison, who was previously served 18 years in prison for murdering his girlfriend and dumping her corpse in the Passaic River, is currently being held as a suspect.
