[edit] Page protection
Hey Macutty. Please don't add the sprotect tag to articles as you did here [1] because it doesn't do anything. Protection and semi-protection is a special software feature that admins have access to and it has nothing to do with the tag. The tag just informs editors that the page has been protected or semi-protected. If you feel a page needs to be protected or semi-proteced, you may request it here. [edit] Peak Oil
Hey Macutty, welcome to wikipedia. I answered your question in the Peak Oil talk section. Perhaps you can help in cleaning up the article and find the references to articles that would balance it.Kgrr 14:36, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- I have corrected/formalized all of the cited references in the Peak Oil article. I did not find any personal web pages although one reference points to the blog of a well-known economist. Please be a bit more specific as to which "special interest group" references you find objectionable. Some critical viewpoints do come from political think tanks such as Cato Institute for example. Also, please show me which sections are unbalanced in your opinion. Let's fix the article and get it to Good Article status.Kgrr 15:45, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
