[edit] Image source problem with Image:Bridges-logo.jpg
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Bridges-logo.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:44, 13 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Ward-armed&dan.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ward-armed&dan.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:53, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Controversies pages
FYI, Controversies of Rudy Giuliani has now been dismantled, with its legitimate contents disbursed among the appropriate Giuliani articles and its unworthy contents junked. See Talk:Controversies of Rudy Giuliani for more. This is pertinent to your concern that it was unfair that Republican candidates had such articles and Hillary Clinton did not. I hope that someone dismantles the Mike_Huckabee#Controversy section as well. Wasted Time R 18:46, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I spoke a bit too soon ... another editor wants it revived and it's now at AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Controversies of Rudy Giuliani. Wasted Time R 22:20, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Comments on Talk:Hillary Clinton
Mactographer, I would also suggest that you apologize to the editors of the Hillary Rodham Clinton article for your rather uneducated comment about them being sockpuppets of the Clinton campaign.[1] If you take a look at the edit history for the Giuliani and McCain articles you will find that many of the editors on the Clinton article and talk page were also the ones (particularly Wasted Time R) that were in large part responsible for the dismantling of the Criticism section and/or articles in those articles. What you see reflected on the Clinton article and on many other politician articles, is a general dislike of criticism sections that has been applied across party lines and without regard to a person's political beliefs and/or practices. --Bobblehead (rants) 23:57, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: user-requested deletions
Sure thing! Generally, pages and images are deleted "on sight" if the sole author requests so. Just dump a list of what you want gone on my talk page. east.718 at 00:06, December 25, 2007
- OK, I've removed all the images on enwiki. I am not a Commons admin, but am trying to get a hold of one right now; if the pictures aren't gone in a couple hours, you'll have to file deletion requests on Commons, and I do not have any idea as to what their procedures are. east.718 at 00:35, December 25, 2007
- I am a Commons Administrator. east718 told me of your request and I went ahead and removed the images from the Commons. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 04:39, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- Done. Let me know if there's anything else you need help with. east.718 at 03:43, December 28, 2007

[edit] Copyright problem
Another editor has listed Image:Worship-leader.jpg as having a copyright problem. There has been a discussion here. For simplicity I've pasted the discussion from that page below:
Image:Worship-leader.jpg- Although this is the author's own work it does appear to include copyrighted material. Namely the lyrics to a song which has restrictions on reproduction. For example for a church to use those lyrics on a projector system as shown they must have a valid CCLI licence. Although done in good faith, I am unsure as to whether the appearance of the lyrics within this photograph constitute copyright infringement or not. I put a note on the image's talk page some time ago.Crimperman (talk) 13:40, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Would it be possible for you to add the fair-use template to the image page? You will also need to remove it from your user page. Please let me know if you have any questions. Cheers--DO11.10 (talk) 03:33, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] huckabee 44/54
Check the List of Governors of Arkansas. Orval Faubus (what a name) was 44. Huckabee just had another one of those things where sounds came out of his mouth, but they weren't sensible when he said 44. If you look, the Huckabee article already has quotes from him about the frequency of such incidents. ThuranX (talk) 12:25, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Stonehill-edge-of-the-world.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Stonehill-edge-of-the-world.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:15, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Image:Camera-phone-selfport.jpeg
A tag has been placed on Image:Camera-phone-selfport.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I8 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is available as a bit-for-bit identical copy on the Wikimedia Commons under the same name, or all references to the image on Wikipedia have been updated to point to the title used at Commons.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. LegoKontribsTalkM 23:35, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
