[edit] A welcome from Sango123

Hello, Macintosh User/Archive 1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)

Good to see a fellow Mac-user over here. If there's ever a Mac-PC debate, count on me. (No, but of course we're not biased.) ElAmericano 03:57, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Macintosh

Thanks for joining! We're currently focusing on the Apple Mac article; it's currently a FA candidate and you can vote here. We’re all honored that you want to join our WikiProject. --HereToHelp (talk) 01:01, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Got your comment and greetings!

'Ey, how'd you do that? l33t hax0r skills? Yes, I use a Mac...didn't realize I'd left hints to the effect. :)

Sure, what do ye need to know about fighter planes?

Cheers, Guapovia

[edit] Vandalism

It's not vandalism to edit another persons page. This is a wiki, anyone can edit! Jimbo states on the page that he wants other people to edit this page, plus plenty of other wikipedians encourage others to edit their user page (myself included). [edit] Jimbo's user page

You reverted somebody's edit to jimbo wales. It says on the page that people should feel free to edit it. Doesn't that mean you shouldn't revert it? --Bucephalus 17:46, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

notice this on the Larry Sanger page: '...however, in about 2004 Wales began to reject crediting Sanger with the honorary appellation, calling himself the sole founder and, while describing Sanger's role as important, emphasizing his status as an employee under his direction.' If Jimbo considers himself the sole founder, then that's what it should say on his user page. If you want to change it, start a discussion on the talk page first. I will revert. Macintosh User 17:51, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Keep yer pants on. I don't mind or want to change anything. I didn't make the edit putting Sanger in there. I was just pointing out the note on the page. I'll leave it alone. Sorry. --Bucephalus 17:59, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image:NewiMacG5.jpg

I see that you are using Image:NewiMacG5.jpg on your user page. Since this image is fair use and was removed from the last article it was used on on December 28, it's a speedy deletion candidate and I have deleting it on my to-do list (I'll wait a few more days at least, though). I would suggest that you use the free replacement that was also used on iMac, namely Image:IMacG5FR_whiteBG.jpg, on your user page instead - at that size it should'nt make that much of a difference anyway. -- grm_wnr Esc 14:30, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

I changed it. Macintosh User 02:45, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Talk:Albert Einstein

Hi! I restored a lot of what you had archived from the above page -- it is part of a long, on-going dispute with a single user, which is currently the subject of an RFC, and I think it is important that it stay on that page until it has been resolved. I know it is unwieldy but it should be over soon. --Fastfission 16:52, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bah Humbug

I'm at work and was having a nap. Woke up and got hit with your special page. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 14:13, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Current Mac project collaboration

The current WP:MAC collaboration is Apple II family. Please devote some time to improve this article to featured status. — Wackymacs 13:48, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] removing "vandalism"

re: my changes on the antigenic drift page.

Did you even look at the page? I was removing previous vandalism. Sorry if I didn't note this somehow, but I'm new to this and I don't understand the interface complete.
