[edit] Holy Mackerel?

I'd like to see something about the exclamation "Holy Mackerel!" in this article, but am not sure how appropriate it would be. Suggestions/comments? Nihiltres 16:07, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

I'd like to see it removed. I don't find it appropriate. It could be moved to Wiktionary. I'm linking to Wiktionary. Jɪmp 04:28, 7 February 2008 (UTC) I've moved it to (disambig). Jɪmp 04:54, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] harbinger of spring?

Is mackerel seen as fish that announces the arrival of spring in UK? And how is it typically cooked to be eaten in the West?

I would appreciate your input.

[edit] Word puzzle part

Wisconsin shares a "c" with mackerel.

[edit] Undid blanking of page

It seems that some school kid in Canada decided to blank the page. Their IP address has vandalized many pages before. If only I knew more about Wikipedia I'd notify someone who could do something about it. HunterZero 16:52, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

You can do something about it, the easiest thing being simply to revert them: click on history and hit undo ... which is what it seems you did.Jɪmp 04:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
