[edit] Redirect

I again turned the article into a redirect. This change was previously reverted with no explanation whatsoever. As I explained in my edit summary, I have redirected because this term is explained at length at the target of redirect, where more information and context is given. Do not revert whithout explaining why. Tizio 12:18, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

This term is notable enough to have its own article, and it is referenced, too. It is a separate issue from "Macaca." Just because an article is short does not mean it has to be a part of something else. Xyz7890 (talk) 17:05, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
The point is, this is not a separate issue. It's notable and it's referenced, but it's still a part of a larger controversy, so it's better dealt where the controversy is reported. It's not just because the article it's short, it's more because a. the article will remain short forever since there's nothing else to say, and b. it is a terms used in a single incident; at least 1/2 of this article summarizes that incident, which is described elsewhere. No answer? Good! I reverted to my version. Tizio 11:56, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

I forgot about this discussion. Anyway, I am in favor of keeping this its own article. The article you want it to redirect to is very long, and this would get lost in it. The term has little to do with the race of George Allen, and more to do with that of Al Weed. Though it may be short now, there is always room to expand Wikipedia articles. Someone may come along one day with more information. I do remember a cartoon pertaining to Macacawitz. I can't remember where I saw it, but if I can find it, I plan to add something about it, as this would be more notability.Xyz7890 (talk) 00:31, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
