Macrodontia Lepeletier & Audinet-Serville, 1830 is a genus of American long-horned beetles of the subfamily Prioninae, tribe Macrodontiini.

The body size is large or even giant. The body is flattened, opaque, all brown or orange with longitudinal black strips.
The males typically have enormous jaws, from which it derives its name Macrodontia, that is "large tooth".
On the contrary, the antennae are relatively short with respect to many other cerambycids.

The genus is original from South America, but the 10 known species range from Guatemala to Argentina.
