Macomb Mall is an enclosed shopping center located in Roseville, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. Anchor stores include Babies "R" Us (detached from the main mall), Kohl's, Old Navy, Sears, and Steve & Barry's University Sportswear..[2] Macomb Mall features over 100 inline stores and restaurants, as well as a movie theater. The mall is managed by Thor Equities.[2]
[edit] History
Macomb Mall was developed in 1964 by the Schostak Corporation of Detroit, Michigan. The mall opened with Sears, Crowley's and Kresge as its anchor stores.[3][4] Later expansion brought MainStreet to the mall; this store was converted to Kohl's in 1989. Old Navy was added as part of a 1999 renovation; it was the first Old Navy store in Macomb County.[5]
Schostak continued to manage the mall until 2004, when it was put on the market.[6] Thor Equities acquired the mall that year. Value City closed its store in March 2008.[7]
