Macomb Academy of Arts and Sciences

Often referred to as MA2S, the Macomb Academy of Arts and Sciences in Armada, Macomb County, Michigan is a school for gifted students and forms part of the the Armada Area School District. However, MA2S is not limited to students enrolled in Armada Area Schools. Its current student body includes students from Armada as well as Richmond, Romeo, Capac, Memphis, New Haven, East China and Anchor Bay. All courses taught at MA2S are taught at the Honors level.
In 2005 a science teacher at the school was one of three finalists for the Shell Science Teaching Award of the National Science Teachers Association. [1]
