Macleod College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Macleod College is a co-educational, Prep to Year Twelve school located on the corner of May and Carwarp Streets, Macleod, Melbourne, Australia. The College grew out of the merger of Macleod High School and Macleod Primary School in 2000.

Macleod College is in the heart of the small and fairly private suburb of Macleod, with many benefits of a village atmosphere. It is adjacent to a train station and bus routes. There is a history of strong academic achievement and the school is currently in the process of strengthening its curriculum. School Council voted recently to reject a proposed merger with 6 other schools, in part because of its strong reputation as a school of excellence. Students travel from over 20 different suburbs to attend the school.
